BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER                                                                       

 

  • RESPONSIBLE FOR GUIDING THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES TO ACHIEVE AND MAINTAIN WEEKLY SALES QUOTAS
  • ON-GOING PROFICIENCY TRAINING FOR ALL THE SERVICE PERSONNEL
  • SET OFFICE RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCHEDULE FOR SERVICE PERSONNEL AND ENFORCE CONSISTENCY ON ALL PROCEDURES
  • CRITIQUE EACH LIMOUSINE SERVICE CONTRACT FOR THOROUGHNESS AND ACCURACY OF ALL INFORMATION AND RATES
  • CRITIQUE EACH LIMOUSINE CONTRACT FOR PRICE QUOTES WITHIN APPROVAL RANGE SET FORTH BY THE VP OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OR GENERAL MANAGER
  • EVALUATE AND DISTINGUISH CLOSING TECHNIQUES OF THE SALES REPS ON DISCOUNTS VERSUS PROFITABILITY
  • ADMINISTER AND SET SALES AGENTS INCENTIVE PROGRAM
  • TRACKING SEASONAL BUSINESS MINIMUM OF 3 MONTHS PRIOR TO ESTABLISH MINIMUMS AND PRICE SCHEDULES
  • TRACKING OF ALL SALES AGENT PERFORMANCE AND PRODUCTIVITY REPORTS
  • DEFICIENCY COUNSELING, RE-TRAINING, AND WRITTEN DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS ON SALES AGENTS IN NEED OF ADDITIONAL GUIDANCE AND/OR WARNINGS OF NEGATIVE BEHAVIOR OR ACTIONS AGAINST COMPANY POLICIES AND WORK ETHICS.
  • MONITOR AND EVALUATE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES PHONE CONVERSATIONS TO ASSURE QUALITY SERVICE ARE BEING PROVIDED TO OUR CLIENTELE.
  • INTERVIEW NEW HIRES FOR THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
  • TRAINING OF ALL NEW HIRES FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
  • RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SALES AGENTS WORK SCHEDULE AND TURN INS
  • ACHIEVE AND MAINTAIN A MINIMUM OF 20K PER MONTH IN SALES REVENUE
  • COORDINATE, MANAGE AND ATTEND ALL TRADE SHOW/ BRIDAL SHOW EVENTS
  • IMPLEMENT AND MANAGE VIP PREFERRED CUSTOMER PROGRAM
  • DEVELOP TELEMARKETING PROGRAMS AND TRACK THE SUCCESS RATE/ VISIT POTENTIAL CORPORATE CLIENTS AND SET UP NEW CORPORATE ACCOUNTS
  • MANAGE ALL WEDDING LISTS AND FOLLOW UP ON ALL MAILOUTS TO ASSURE PROPER PROCEDURE
  • CUSTOMER SERVICE BEFORE SERVICE IS RENDERED INCLUDING CLIENT QUESTIONS, CANCELLATIONS, DOWNGRADE, AND TIME/DATE CHANGES, ETC.
  • CONDUCT SALES MEETINGS WITH V.P. OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ON A BIWEEKLY BASIS, SETTING GOALS AND DEVISING AND DISCUSSING STRATEGIES IN WHICH TO MEET THOSE GOALS.
  • FOLLOW UP ON PRIOR WEEKS ACTIVITIES AND PRODUCTIVITY
  • COMPLETE PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE OF THE ENTIRE FLEET & FACILITY IS CRITICAL
  • COMPLETE KNOWLEDGE OF THE COMPETITION AND THEIR RATES YEAR ROUND
  • KNOWLEDGE OF RESTAURANTS, HOTELS, CITIES OUTSIDE OF METRO SAN JOSE AND THE DISTANCE AND/OR TIME IT TAKES TO ARRIVE AT THE DESTINATION
  • REPORT IN WRITING OR VOICEMAIL ON A DAILY BASIS TO THE GENERAL MANAGER OR VP OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPORTING ANY PROBLEMS, ISSUES OR CONCERNS AND ALL PERTINENT SALES ACTIVITY

MONDAY THRU FRIDAY

7:30AM TO 6:30PM (WEEKENDS ON A AS NEEDED BASIS)

 

AFTER HOURS TELEPHONE

ON A AS NEEDED BASIS

 

COMPENSATION:

MONTHLY SALARY OF $TBD FOR THE FIRST 90 DAYS, AFTER A SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE INTRODUCTORY PERIOD, AND ALL JOB DESCRIPTION IS AT GOOD STANDINGS, A RAISE TO THE AMOUNT OF $TBD PER MONTH PLUS THE COMMISION PLAN WILL BE IN FULL FORCE AT THE 91ST DAY. AFTER THE ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY DATE, ANOTHER REVIEW WILL TAKE PLACE AND ANNUALLY THEREAFTER.

 

USE OF A CELLULAR TELEPHONE, INCLUDING 600 MINUTES OF TALK TIME, ADDITIONAL MINUTES ARE NOT INCLUDED.

 

1 WEEK PAID VACATION AFTER 1ST YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT

 

2 WEEKS PAID VACATION AFTER 2ND YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT

 

3 WEEKS PAID VACATION AFTER 3RD YEAR AND ALL YEARS THEREAFTER

(VACATION DOES NOT START TO ACCRUE UNTIL THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE FIRST YEAR OF EMPLOYEMENT,VACATION TIME DOES NOT ACCRUE IN THE FIRST YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT)

 

100% PREMIUM PAID HEALTHCARE PROGRAM

THIS HEALTH, DENTAL, VISION PLAN SHALL COVER YOUR ENTIRE IMMEDIATE FAMILY AFTER THE 90-DAY INTRODUCTORY PERIOD. (INCLUDING, YOU, YOUR SPOUSE, AND ANY OF YOUR CHILDREN.

 

401K PROGRAM SHALL BE AVAILABLE AFTER (6) SIX MONTHS OF EMPLOYMENT

 

BONUS PROGRAM:

MONTHLY GROSS DEPARTMENTAL SALES EQUALING:

300K WILL RESULT IN A $1000.00 BONUS

350K WILL RESULT IN A $1500.00 BONUS

400K WILL RESULT IN A $2000.00 BONUS

450K AND ABOVE WILL RESULT IN A $2500.00 BONUS

 

GROSS SALES DO NOT INCLUDE REVENUES GENERATED BY THE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT AND DO NOT INCLUDE, CHAUFFEUR/LICENSE/GASOLINE FEES.

 

QUALITY ASSURANCE BONUS STRUCTURE
At the sole discretion of the General manager, the Business Developement Manager may receive up to a  $________ quarterly bonus, depending on performance in the following.  Bonus structure does not accrue.

  • Following this job description 100%.
  • No write-ups or other negative performance problems during the quarter.
  • No late arrivals to work or from lunch/No excessive missed days of work.
  • Any days off must be submitted in writing two (2) weeks in advance. Missing work without 2 weeks notice will result in loss of bonus and daily pay.  Emergencies must be verifiable.
  • All write-ups are signed and completed within three (3) days.
  • Maintain excellent communication with the President/CEO on a daily basis via voicemail or written form.
  • Ensure that all Service Reps follow company policy and their job descriptions.
  • Ensure that all Service Reps follow thru on their marketing projects.
  • Complete all task in a timely fashion without being reminded of the same issues.
  • Assure quality work from your peers.

This bonus structure can be modified/cancelled at any time at the sole discretion of the General Manager.
